3D recap

We create 3d models using three components: vertices, edges, faces,

a cube has:

Six faces

Eight vertices

12 edges

2d has the x and y-axis, while 3d has the x,y and z-axis

Cartesian coordinates

We name Cartesian coordinates after the 17th-century French philosopher and mathematician Rene Descartes. There is a story where he was lying in bed watching a fly on the ceiling and wondering how to describe its location and invented these coordinates.
