Wix is an online resource that allows users to design and create their own websites, it has been designed to be easy to learn and simple to use no matter the project.

It encourages you to utilise and create your own website with it, there are loads of presets that you can utilise, these can be either for inspiration or as a starting point for your final portfolio design.

If you want a preset template from Wix, Squarespace or any other similar resource, it is important you change the template enough to make it your own, your portfolio should represent you and by using an already made template s clients may recognise it from other people also using it. This could put them off if they recognise the use of one.

In the early stages of using Wix, I am finding it really easy to work around and use. I love the way it presents my work and the website looks like a professional one which forwards my work even better. I still need to add all the extra work that went with my brief and do little explanations to do with these as well.

I have used a template that has given me the option to have different sections to show off the work of the different parts of my briefs, so far I have only completed the digital illustration part of this and am yet to add explanations to my images.
