RGB VS CMYK

RGB- Red Green Blue– These are the three primary colours in the colour wheel A light source within a device creates any colour you need by mixing red, green and blue and varying their intensity.

CMYK- Cyan Magenta Yellow Key- These are used in colour printing and is also used to describe the printing process itself.

Importing from Illustrator into After Effects

Some find it more beneficial to create assets in other pieces of software and then import this over to after effects, this is what I did today with illustrator.

In illustrator when opening it to create a new file you are greeted with a set of presets, when using this software to later bring your work into after effects you would want to click o the film and video option and click on HDV/HDTV 1080 as this is the normal setting which works with any computer.
