A narrative is a connection of series or related events which is described as a story. Narration is the actions of presenting a story to an audience. Types of narratives are linear and non-linear. A linear narrative is a story that follows a straight line and is in chronological order, for example: it has a beginning, middle and an end such as typical disney animated movies. Intertextuality and Context
Intertextuality Intertextuality is the relationship between texts, the ways that similar texts influence or differ from each other. Direct intertextuality is taken directly copying from another text in its own context. And the audience knows exactly what its referencing. Indirect intertextuality is a brief reference to another text, like a parody which is referencing another text in a less obvious way.
