In this session, we looked at movie posters and their techniques in getting an audience’s attention. For example, They use scaling, framing, negative space also known as black space and holding devices. I will explain briefly what they mean. Lightsaber

First I added a shape, then I applied sabre in effects and presets to it. I applied the effect to a text layer and started playing around with random effects and presets. I applied a lightsabre effect to a video here: I could use this effect for various cool effects on things or lightsabre sword fights

SWOT analysis 2020 – End of term 1 resub

SWOT analysis charts are a way of showing your strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats in a certain time period. This is good for college tutors to see where your concerns might be and also where you might excell. LUTs

we made a LUT pack where we took a video and added different colour tones to it. Like making it darker or increasing the saturation. I can make the scene come to life as the LUT can make it more realistic. Colour theory is important because it is crucial for getting peoples attention, imagination and feelings. It’s important to learn about colours and their effects.
