Adobe Photoshop is a raster graphics editor created in 1988. It is used widely by photographers, to retouch photos and also in graphic designs. It is also used in the film world on anything in a video that is still or in special effects. Anything that doesn’t move can be altered, for example in matte paintings, concept art, storyboarding, or colour manipulations. Photoshop is a very useful software to have.
Here is an example of an image of a guys face that has been re-touched to be made into a scary clown with sharp teeth and a long tongue. different hair colour and face markings and white face paint and a red nose

In today’s lesson, we learned about how to edit a photo in Photoshop. We edited an image of someone and turned them into an Orc/Goblin just like how we turned someone into a vampire.
I used the liquify effect to distort the image
I applied textures to the image by stretching the image with the wrap tool, then use one of the blending effects to make it look good
I used the lasso tool around the face to make the skin green and then I found an image of fish scales on the internet and I used it for the neck area using opacity. I am pleased with the way this effect has turned out.
Hopefully, with practice I will be able to blend better, it is difficult to achieve a smooth finish when we are not in college receiving guidance.
I did things similar to the vampire edit I did
The Final Image:
This effect could be useful for my fantasy brief, I could use it for creating an orc/goblin type character. I could use it in a poster design. It’s good to be able to alter the look of something/someone and so easily, transform someone into something else.
