Vampire photoshop resub

Adobe Photoshop is a raster graphics editor created in 1988. It is used widely by photographers, to retouch photos and also in graphic designs. It is also used in the film world on anything in a video that is still or in special effects. Anything that doesn’t move can be altered, for example in matte paintings, concept art, storyboarding, or colour manipulations. Photoshop is a very useful software to have.

Here is an example of an image of a girl’s face that has been retouched to remove her freckles and to give her a flawless complexion, enhancing her eyes and lips too.

We edited an image of someone and turned them into a vampire.

select something you want to edit with the lasso tool, layer via copy, select a new layer, right-click, transform, wrap, edit it as much as you want

place a yellow/red circle on the eyes, lower opacity, eraser tool to make pupils visible (this was a little fiddly at first)

use levels/curves/colour balance to change the lighting

use the lasso tool on the face, use the colour balance to change the skin (this was a bit tricky)

use a low opacity brush to add dark areas or veins or blood.

I chose to change the colour of the beer to red to make it look like blood, I like the effect.

Overall I am happy with my first attempt at using photoshop and with practice, I hope to perfect my skills.

This effect could be useful for my fantasy brief, I could use it on the villain to make him look more evil perhaps. I could use it on the villain in a poster design. It’s good to be able to alter the look of something/someone and so easily, transform someone into something else.
