As part of the progression brief, we will need to set up a website with our work on it. It will have an about me, social links and basic contact info and examples of your work.
Websites consist of two essential parts
- A Domain: The URL / an address for your website.
- A Server Host: This is where your website is hosted and runs on a network connected to the internet.
Websites can be easily coded with HTML & CSS or by using website building services such as WordPress or Wix.
Domains
A domain name aka your website URL – you will have to pay for and renew yearly unless you use a free domain as part of WordPress or Wix.

The purpose of the website is that it shows off the person’s work, which for this person, they are a production designer. The website has a good layout, and it’s easy to navigate where everything is in tabs and you can look at what films he has worked on and other concepts he’s made.
