Tutorials

A tutorial is one tutorial every term with your tutor, during which you discuss how the course is going, how you’re doing, your career possibilities, university, and so on, and you and your tutor set three SMART targets based on character, career, and qualification.

Good attendance. You have attended 49 classes out of 49, and you were never late. And I’m on programme.

From term 1

How are you finding the 2nd year of the course so far? (this can be positive/negative/both) I think it is going well, I’m finding using the software great

Do you have any concerns or questions? No

Do you feel like you are coping with the demands of the course or do you need more help if so then please let us know more here: I feel like I am, but I think I might need a bit of help

What are your plans for after the course please give us some details? I’m not that sure really

Set yourself a target in terms of qualification (what grade do you want and how will you achieve this)? I need to try and get merits and I need to put more detail onto my blog posts

Set yourself a target in terms of career (what are your next steps after college and how do you intend to get there)? I’m considering going to uni but I’m not sure yet

Set yourself a personal target – do you need to get up earlier so you are not late/work harder in sessions or ask for help more if needed? try and stay more focused to get more work done

Personal target

I should try and get most of my animation completed, and try to focus more on it. I should use my kanban to help me with my animation. I should ask for help more.

Career target

I want to go to university and do a degree in games production/technology; I need to get a DMM from my brief. I would like to have a career that involves video games.

Character target

I could try to be more focused and try to be more into group conversations

Qualification target

The grade I need to achieve for university is a DMM. So I need to work hard on my animation and get it completed.
