Set driven keys

You can link objects in the Set Driven Key window so that one object’s qualities drive or influence the attributes of another.

Set driven keys, for example, are a part of the rigging process that are placed in a scene or on a character rig to aid speed up the animation process. Set driven keys can also help to speed up the animation process and avoid having to input a large number of keyframes.

For example, animating a set of gears/cogs to turn in lockstep, or making a muscle on a character’s arm bulge when the elbow is moved a certain manner.
