We made a Bifrost water crashing simulation in Maya.
First, we made an L shape corridor

Then, we made a star-shaped plane using the target weld tool.

We then extruded out the plane like this:

Next, we duplicated the plane and added a stretched-out cube underneath, then combined the shapes. We now have made an emitter

Then, we created a Bifrost liquid using the combined shapes, we then selected continuous emission in the attribute editor

We created a motion field by selecting both the emitter and container

Maya crashed and I lost everything 🙁
I got everything back 😀
We then selected the motion field in the outliner and went to the field direction in the attribute editor where we changed the direction, turbulence, and noise.
