Zero hour.
Does not guarantee you any money. A job where you come in as the employer needs you.
Freelance.
Working with clients and working out your own hours, and the money you put back into your business vs the money you keep to spend on things.
Becoming a successful freelancer.
Network: regularly attend networking events (cons), opportunities and be active on social media.
Keep up: Keep up to date with technology, newest software and new terminology and concepts in the industry.
Communicate: keep the client up to date about the job and the progress and any changes.
Confidence: be resilient, and don’t work for free unless for a friend or charity. If someone that I don’t know asks me to work for free, they don’t respect me as an artist and animator.
