ray bradbury.
ray breadbury was a short story writer who wrote many short stories across different genres.
he said that creative writers should:
- write what you love
- write little and often
- with quantity comes quality (meaning that if you write a lot, you will get better.)
- practice, practice, practise!
anthologies.
an anthology is a collection of short stories that can sometimes be linked in their genre or theme.
anthologies in different genres:
- films – ABC of death, VHS.
- tv series – black mirror, inside no.9
the path – creative writing.
the key point of the path exercise: the faster you write, the quicker you get to the truth of your story and your brain will adapt to this. if you stop to correct things or think about the story then it can break your flow.
