This blog post is about how my work on my project for the B2 Creative Project is going. So far, at the end of January, I am a few weeks into term 2 and have been working on the production of my project. By the end of the first term, I had done all of my pre-production and theory work and had the production and post mortem for this brief left to complete when college resumed in the new year. I am on track with this – my project is an animation, and so far this term I have mostly just been animating one shot at a time. There is still a lot of work to go and now that I am a few shots into the animation, I am used to the process of finishing one shot in Photoshop and moving onto the next, exporting them as separate videos and editing them together in After Effects.

I think that I will only get quicker at producing shots in this way through doing it so many times and this will hopefully help to get my animation finished in time for the deadline in just under a month. Going forward, I think I will need to be working on my animation at home some more, just to ensure that I am working efficiently and giving myself plenty of opportunities to get shots finished and edited.
